Tagging view
The Tagging view in the Unified Quality Dashboard (UQD) helps teams verify that their GitLab projects are correctly configured for UQD reporting.
It provides visibility into project metadata and environment configurations to ensure that systems are accurately categorised and included in UQD metrics.

What it shows
The Tagging view highlights configuration details related to:
- DGP subsystem mappings for GitLab projects
- Production environment configuration used for deployment tracking
- Metric inclusion or exclusion settings that affect UQD reporting
These indicators help teams confirm that their projects are correctly configured for UQD data collection.
Ambiguous DGP subsystem mapping
This section highlights projects where the DGP SubSystem ID mapping may be unclear or conflicting.
This can occur when:
- A project does not have an explicit DGP subsystem topic
- Multiple subsystem identifiers are inferred for the same project
- The project relies only on implicit subsystem mapping
Resolving ambiguous mappings ensures that project metrics are attributed to the correct system in UQD.
Production environment configuration
This section identifies projects that do not have a Production environment configured.
UQD relies on GitLab environment tagging to track deployment activity. If the production environment is missing or incorrectly configured, deployment metrics may not appear accurately.
Metrics inclusion and exclusion
This section shows projects that are included or excluded from UQD metrics reporting.
Repositories may be excluded to prevent test repositories, templates, or experimental projects from affecting system metrics.

Use the Tagging view when you need to:
- Verify project tagging and subsystem mappings
- Confirm Production environment configuration
- Check which projects are included in UQD metrics
