Digital Governance Platform (DGP) ID

The Digital Governance Platform (DGP) ID identifies government systems registered in the Digital Governance Platform (DGP).

In SHIP-HATS, the DGP ID links a system created in Console to its corresponding DGP record, enabling governance traceability and compliance with ICT&SS standards.

Quick summary

  • A DGP ID identifies production systems registered in DGP
  • It is configured when creating a system in Console
  • It applies at the system level (all projects inherit it)
  • Required for production systems, optional for POC systems

Purpose of DGP ID

The DGP ID acts as a governance anchor for systems intended for production use.

It enables:

  • Identification of production systems during configuration and audits
  • Alignment with DGP records, ensuring a single source of truth
  • Association with one or more DGP subsystem IDs
  • Governance checks when systems move from POC to production

The DGP ID does not affect tool provisioning or project creation.
It is used only to validate governance status.

Where the DGP ID is specified

The DGP ID is specified when you create a system in Console.

During system creation:

  • Indicate whether the system has a DGP ID.
  • If Yes, select the relevant agency and DGP subsystem ID(s).

The DGP ID is stored at the system level and applies to all projects under that system.

Note
DGP IDs are not configured per project or per tool.
All projects under the same system inherit the system’s governance status.

How DGP ID applies in SHIP-HATS
