This section explains how SHIP-HATS subscriptions are billed.
Billing rules
Billing starts after approval
Billing begins when a SHIP-HATS subscription is approved and at least one chargeable tool is added.
(Some tools, such as SonarQube Community and pCloudy Shared, are free.)Charges are based on subscription, not usage
You are billed for subscribed resources even if:- Users do not actively use the tool.
- Agency has not provisioned subscribed licences to their users.
No proration
The first and last months are billed in full, with no proration.Highest unit count applies
Billing is based on the highest number of units subscribed during the month.
Reducing units mid-month does not reduce charges for that month.
