Subscribe to SonarQube
Agencies can subscribe to SonarQube through a SHIP-HATS subscription in Console.
SHIP-HATS provides the following editions:
- SonarQube Community Edition
- SonarQube Enterprise Edition
Choose the option that matches your situation

| Your agency does not have a SHIP-HATS subscription | Subscribe to SHIP-HATS and include SonarQube |
| Your agency already has a SHIP-HATS subscription | Update your existing SHIP-HATS subscription and add SonarQube |
During subscription
You can subscribe to SonarQube Community Edition, SonarQube Enterprise Edition, or both.
SonarQube Enterprise Edition is a capacity-based tool.
Specify the number of LOC blocks (units) required.
One unit of SonarQube Enterprise Edition supports analysis of up to 400,000 lines of code (LOC).

Things to know
SonarQube does not require a dedicated user licence.
Users must have at least one SHIP-HATS licence to access SonarQube. See Tools that require licences.If you created a new subscription, wait for approval before using SonarQube.
Billing starts once the requested Enterprise LOC units are provisioned.
You can update your subscription anytime to increase or reduce the number of LOC units.
