Request custom SonarQube quality gates

SHIP-HATS provides standard quality gates aligned with GovTech GPO QA standards.

If your agency requires customised quality gates, you can request them through the SHIP-HATS service desk.

Custom quality gates may deviate from GovTech standards. Agencies are responsible for the risks and quality differences introduced by customised rules.

Steps

1. Raise a request via the SHIP-HATS service desk.

2. Provide the following information:

• Quality gate name
• Applications to assign the quality gate to
• Agency or project owner approval
• Required quality gate metrics

3. Copy the required metrics from the sample metric tables below and customise them as needed.

You may customise the metrics by:

• Removing rows for metrics that are not required.
• Updating the threshold values.
• Adjusting operators where necessary.

After approval, the SHIP-HATS team will create and assign the quality gate.

1. Raise a ticket. Provide the following details:

   • Quality Gate Name
   • Quality Gate Metrics requirements
   • Applications to assign gates to Project Owner name and Agency name to seek approval from

2. After the Agency or Project Owner approves, we will create the gates and assign to the applications.

You may customise the metrics by:

• Removing rows for metrics that are not required
• Updating the Value field to suit your requirements
