The CFT Admin Portal has been upgraded, featuring a refreshed look and improved user experience.

November 2024

Type Description
Enhancement S3 native scanning

For all workflows that do not require CDR, S3 scanning has been implemented to improve system performance.

August 2024

Type Description
Feature Rate limiting implementation

WAF rate limiting is now implemented in the internet zone to enhance system availability and ensure more reliable data transfers. Currently, WAF rate limiting is applied only to HTTP uploads.

July 2024

Type Description
Feature Enable file archiving

By default, an active SFTP scheduler job will repeatedly transfer the same files to the SFTP Server Receiver application.

When the Enable File Archive feature is enabled in a workflow, CFT automatically archives the files that have been successfully uploaded to the SFTP Server Receiver application. The next job runs will not include any files that have previously been sent to the Receiver application.

Note: This feature is only available when the Receiver application in the workflow is an SFTP Server.

For more information, refer to Manage workflows.
Enhancement API workflow ID case insensitivity

Previously, when calling CFT API endpoints that required the Workflow ID header or parameter, the system needed to match the exact Workflow ID casing to successfully call the API.

Now, Workflow IDs in API endpoints are treated as case-insensitive. This update ensures that API requests can work with Workflow IDs regardless of their letter casing.

Refer to CFT REST API Documentation.

June 2024

Type Description
Feature Enable unique file uploads for SFTP

When Enable SFTP Unique Files is enabled in a workflow, SFTP Sender applications can upload duplicate files without overwriting existing files, ensuring each new file is renamed uniquely.

When not enabled, duplicate files will be overwritten by default.

For more information, refer to Manage workflows.
Enhancement AWS PrivateLink integration

SFTP Client systems hosted in GCC 2.0 AWS (Intranet zone) can now use the CFT PrivateLink Endpoint Service for CFT transfers with SFTP SSH Key + password authentication.

To get started, please raise a CFT service request. For more information on PrivateLink, refer to AWS documentation.
Fix Workflow ID filtering

In the Logs section, any issues with filtering by Workflow ID have been successfully resolved. Additionally, improvements were made to enhance page loading speed.

April 2024

CFT’s Scanners have been upgraded; you can now enjoy increased scanner availability.
Enhancement Application ID and Workflow ID search

Searching for Applications and Workflows by their IDs in the Application and Workflow pages is now supported.
Fix Corrected PGP and SLIFT file extensions

PGP and SLIFT file extensions (.pgp, .p7) are now added/removed as intended upon encryption/decryption.
Feature File Delete for SFTP Client receiver applications

SFTP Client Receiver applications are now able to delete files from the workflow folder.
Enhancement File name special characters

File names with special characters or Unicode characters are now supported.

March 2024

Type Description
Feature GA for SFTP, PGP, and SLIFT

SFTP features, along with PGP and SLIFT encryption and decryption, are now officially out of beta and ready for production transfers. Refer to SFTP, PGP, and SLIFT.
Enhancement Allowed file size for HTTPS sender

You can now set the allowed file size for HTTPS Sender applications within your workflow. Here are the maximum file size values that you can set:
• HTTPS Application: 1 GB
• HTTPS Single-Page Application:
    • Internet: 50MB
    • Intranet: 500MB

Important: Existing HTTPS Sender application workflows will automatically be updated to align with the maximum file size value.

Refer to Policy configurations.
Enhancement Unique File ID for SFTP

For SFTP transfers, uploads with the same filename overwrite existing ones. Previously, they all reused the same file ID. Now, a unique file ID is generated to identify each uploaded version.

Important: CFT will only keep the latest version of the file, and the previous versions will no longer be retrievable. Always reference the latest file ID when downloading the file.
Enhancement Vanity ID case insensitivity

The Vanity ID field now supports case-insensitivity, and accepts any combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and dashes.

Note: Only one (1) permutation of a specific casing input will be accepted in the CFT Portal. For example, if Cft123 is entered for one workflow, then CFT123, cft123, cFt123 will not be reusable in other workflows.

February 2024

Type Description
Feature CDR (Content Disarm and Reconstruction)

You can now enable CDR in a workflow to safely disarm all active contents, such as macros, form inputs, and external links, from the files being transferred. Refer to CDR (Content Disarm and Reconstruction).

Note: This feature is still in beta.
