Manage request types
When your Administrators create JSM project using one of the available project templates, the JSM project will have pre-configured request types. Request types help to define and categorise different types of incoming requests.
Benefits
- Enhances organisation and categorisation: Requests are categorised consistently, reducing ambiguity and streamlining workflows.
- Improves user experience: Request types allow customers to easily identify and submit the right type of request, making the process more user-friendly
- customisation: Request types can be tailored to capture specific information for each type of service request, ensuring relevant data is collected
- Workflow automation: enable automatic routing of requests to appropriate teams or individuals, streamlining the process.
- Better reporting and analytics: Categorised requests help track trends, improve forecasting, and streamline service processes.
