What are the payment rails supported?

GovWallet supports payments on both the PayNow and NETS payment platforms. Public agencies onboarded to GovWallet can select the payment platforms(s) to be enabled for the schemes.

Is GovWallet a mobile app?

No, there is no GovWallet mobile app. Part of the Service layer of the Singapore Government Tech Stack (SGTS), GovWallet is a backend service module that partners with other government mobile apps like LifeSG to bring payment services to Singaporeans.

Do beneficiaries need to have a bank account to receive my agency’s payouts through GovWallet?

No, there is no need for the beneficiary to have a bank account.
