Configure Dynatrace resources

Once the Dynatrace space is created, you must configure the connectivity and firewall rules. An onboarding email will be sent to the primary Subscription Admin, containing the detailed setup steps and configuration values.

Step 1: Update VPC route tables

This step is applicable to AWS cloud only.

Before configuring firewall rules or installing OneAgent, update your VPC route tables to route traffic to the OMP subnets via the GCC Common Service Transit Gateway. Refer to the onboarding email for more information.

Note: Apply only the route that matches your hosting environment. If you are unsure whether your environment is GEN or NON-GEN, check with your agency cloud administrator.

Step 2: Configure firewall rules

Open the necessary network ports and flows required for your subscribed monitoring methods. Refer to the onboarding email for more information.
