What’s Next?

In this playbook, we have highlighted the key components that make up a successful data engineering initiative. Our recommendation is to devote sufficient attention to each component, so that you and your organisation have a clearer understanding of how your data engineering initiative should be planned, built, and supported. While we have provided examples of tools and technologies to get you started, these are not exhaustive, and we encourage you to explore the vast data landscape to see what works best for your use case.

Our hope is that this playbook has provided you with ideas and concepts that can be used to jumpstart your organisation’s data engineering journey. We cannot stop the data tsunami that is coming, but with the right resources directed towards the right data engineering initiatives, we can be better prepared to navigate it successfully.
