AISAY on OPUS
AISAY is now available as a ready-made node on OPUS, GovTech’s workflow automation platform. This means you can add AI-powered document extraction, classification, and analysis directly into your automated workflows — no custom API integration needed.
What Is OPUS?
OPUS (formerly known as OGRE — Optimal Government Rule Engine) is GovTech’s low-code workflow automation platform for the Singapore Government. It helps agencies automate repetitive tasks from start to finish using a drag-and-drop visual editor.
Key features of OPUS:
- Drag-and-drop workflow builder — design automations visually, like a flowchart
- Pre-connected to WOG tools — ready-made nodes for government products including AISAY
- No coding required — build and deploy automations without engineering resources
- Compliance built in — designed for government use with security and policy compliance
OPUS is ideal for agencies that want to automate processes involving document handling — for example, automatically extracting data from submitted forms, classifying incoming documents, or running verification checks as part of an approval workflow.

The AISAY Node on OPUS- send documents from sources like FormSG and more!
The AISAY node lets you plug document analysis directly into your OPUS workflows. Instead of calling the AISAY APIs yourself, you simply add the AISAY node to your workflow canvas and configure it.
What you can do with the AISAY node:
- Extract key information from documents using a schema you define
- Classify documents into categories
- Analyse and verify document contents
Example workflow:
- A citizen submits documents through FormSG
- OPUS receives the files and routes them to the AISAY node
- AISAY extracts the required fields (e.g., name, NRIC, income) and classifies the document type
- The extracted data flows into the next step — populating a database, triggering an approval, or flagging for human review
This eliminates the need for officers to manually open each document, read through it, and key in the data.
